Overall
When compared to the Amazon Kindle, the Hanlin V9 is larger, does not offer wireless access to content, is heavier, holds less books in memory, and does not offer a content source that’s associated with the parent company.
That said, I think Kindle is a better buy.
Note: The Hanlin V9 is not much different form the Hanlin V3. The only noticeable difference is the size of the display screen-which is much larger for the V9 plus the number of compatible formats- which is more for the V3. Otherwise, all other features are pretty much the same. One more thing – I don’t understand the reasoning behind the larger screen and the reduction in the number of compatible formats. To me, the V9 has taken a step backwards relative to it predecessor the V3.

Where did you obtain a copy of Hanlin eRedaer V9 ?

for people that have to read scientific articles and books a bigger screen is a must. I wouldn’t buy amazon’s product bc it’s just too small for my needs.
