Do I have to  make a purchase to use Cloud Drive?
No, all you need is an  Amazon account to access the 5 GB of free online storage on Amazon Cloud Drive.
Simply  purchase an album from the Amazon MP3 Store and you may be eligible for a free upgrade to 20 GB of Cloud Drive space for one year ( promotion opened to U.S. customers only).
Whenever you make  a new Amazon MP3 purchase and have it delivered to Cloud Drive, it will not count against your  storage space.  If you happen to need more storage space, you can purchase a paid plan for up to  1,000 GB.
What kinds of files can I store on Cloud Drive?
You can store digital files including music, photos, videos, documents. Once stored, you can access them via web browser on any computer from any location with an internet connection.
To playback on the Amazon Cloud Player, you files will need to be in the following formats: MP3 (.mp3) and DRM-free AAC (.m4a) files.
If your music is not in one of these compatible file formats, you will not be able to upload it to Amazon Cloud player.
Do my Amazon MP3 Purchases count against my storage quota?
Not at this time! Any Amazon MP3 purchases that you store on your Cloud Drive at the time of purchase do not count against your storage quota. You can see all the MP3 tracks that are not counted against your storage quota in the Your Amazon MP3 Purchases list.
Any Amazon MP3 purchases that you manually upload to your Cloud Drive do count against your storage quota.

Where is Amazon Cloud Drive available?
The 5 GB free storage plan is available to all Amazon.com customers everywhere.
However, Â further upgrades to the storage plan are currently not unavailable in the following countries:
